Summer Bible Reading Plan

For the summer, our church has started a Wed night class for Reading the Bible in 90 Days. Eric & I, plus some friends decided to tackle this one. Eric hasn't read it much and is newer to church. I have never read through the Bible, but am familiar with most of it. So we thought this would be good to do together at the same time. Eric quickly realized he is not a reader! Falls asleep almost immediately :) So we went to Mardel & got the NIV version on MP3 and downloaded the whole thing to the iPod. We listened to it to & from our recent drive to Santa Fe, and I realized I don't do well listening to it...I fell asleep! He loved it though, so I read & he listens and it works out :) Anyway, we are really enjoying it and so glad we decided to do it, I think it will be a blessing for us both!

Here is a link to the program if anyone is interested :)

Playing Catch Up! :)

So...I'm slightly behind on posting :) Just been busy & haven't had much time to just sit down for longer than 5 minutes. I used to be on mainly at night, but we have started working out in the mornings, which makes my bedtime much earlier! This plan works so much better for us! But the early bedtime has been an adjustment, we are night owls!

The past few weeks have consisted of Mayfest w/our friends Amy & Kyle, summer outdoor concerts, baby showers, birthday parties, gardening, and Memorial Day. We went to decorate my grandparents graves and then made our way to Branson, MO for the Memorial Day weekend. I grew up going to Branson, and I love Silver Dollar City :) I introduced Eric to it a couple years ago, and he loves it too! The park is kept up so well and its such a family friendly place. It was the BBQ & Bluegrass Festival, so lots of good music & food! Here are a few pics from things!
