Today is the supposed 1st Day of Spring which I've been anticipating for what seems like months & months now!
Mother Nature gave us a couple of teaser days this past week---sun and it actually smelled like spring yesterday with a high of 70. Daffodils & crocus's have bloomed & our lilac & hydrangea's are budding. The yard is finally getting some green to it also. Hallelujah!
The Lilac
Crocus
So much for that! We woke up this morning to a high of 35 today & snow. Its still snowing. We love snow most of the time, but we've had quite enough since Christmas I think!
The Hydrangea
The Redbud Tree
The Daffodil's
The Forsythia
On the positive side, Eric is home for this bout of "winter", so we have all weekend to do nothing! We may get out and go to a movie, but right now he is attempting to groom Capone himself. I can hear Capone in there howling & having a little fit every time the electric clippers come on & Eric trying to calm him down. Hmmm....this should be good! :) Results to follow..................
Hey, Lindsay! Funny thing, I was on Erin Conrad's blog and saw you left a comment and thus found your blog. :) Small world this is, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteI found those Anthro books you like (at least the ones I think you're talking about) on another blog today and they had a link to most of the titles via Amazon (cheaper than Anthro) in case you ever buy any of them in the future...
